It’s that merry time of year again. Santa’s loading his sleigh with goodies and hearts are light with the joys of the season. Make it a hometown holiday this year with Elizabeth City’s calendar of seasonal

December 7 | Lighted Boat Parade and First Friday ArtWalkLighted Boat ParadeSpice up your weekend with First Friday ArtWalk in the downtown area and watch the Lighted Boat parade in the harbor.  Elizabeth City’s harbor will come alive as boats, large and small, sport Christmas lights as they float along the waterfront.  ArtWalk begins at 5:00 p.m., with the boat parade starting around 6:45 p.m.

December 7 | Visit with SantaVisit With SantaSanta will be ready to visit, listen to Christmas wishes and smile for your photos at Eclectic Jewelry from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on 12/7 and 12/16 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Santa will also be at a second location, Page After Page Bookstore from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  Photos are available for purchase at both locations.

December 9 | Albemarle ChoraleAlbemarle ChoraleThe Albemarle Chorale will present its second Christmas concert, “Hark and Rejoice”, on Sunday, December 9, at 4:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church at 201 South Road Street in Elizabeth City.  The concert will feature sacred music for the Christmas season including Bach’s “Magnificat” and new renditions of familiar carols.  For more info call 252.221.8057 

December 15 & 16 | I'll Be Home For ChristmasI'll Be Home For Christmas - corey bradfordJoin Corey J. December 16 | Jazz By CandlelightJazz by CandlelightJazz by Candlelight's theme this year will be “A Winter Wonderland of Jazz”.
