Historic Ghost Walk 2019 - Project ZebraHistoric Ghost Walk
The award-winning Elizabeth City Historic Ghost Walk 2019 is a family-friendly, fun and creative way to watch our local history come alive. No need to fear, our ghostly apparitions only wish to entertain as they spin their tales. Ghost Walk is a history lesson, home tour, and live theater combined in one event. This year’s ghostly theme is Project Zebra: Elizabeth City’s top-secret role in WWII. Start your otherworldly adventure at 5:30 p.m. at Arts of the Albemarle (516 E. Main Street). Performances conclude at 9:30 p.m. and tickets are $12.00 and $10.00 with military ID. Plan to grab a bite to eat while downtown at one of our locally owned restaurants.

ECSU Homecoming ParadeElizabeth City State University Homecoming Parade and Game

Nunsense - COA Performing Arts CenterLive Theater and Short Films
We have three performances hitting the stage.  In a dire situation, the Little Sisters of Hoboken resort to performing a variety show in "Nunsense".  Encore Theater's  "A Bad Year for Tomatoes" will keep you laughing, as the famous Myra Marlow goes on retreat... only to end up with nosy neighbors, a ruse and suspicions of murder!   Follow Anne through her rebellious years, her transformation into a young woman, and her romantic pairing with Gilbert in the classic, "Anne of Green Gables".

Next up, the Final Ten selections have been announced for the Manhattan Short Film Festival 2019, a worldwide event taking place in over 400 venues across six continents.  These Final Ten films represent the best short films from among 1,250 submissions from 70 countries received by MANHATTAN SHORT for 2019, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films worldwide.

For lovers of the classic - interactive movie, bring your toilet paper and rice for the showing of "Rocky Horror" at Arts of the Albemarle!
